Mains Powered Irrigation Controllers

Larger and more complex irrigation systems with multiple zones require something to make controlling them quick, easy and reliable. That's why you would choose a mains powered irrigation controller in conjunction with 24v solenoid valves. The irrigation controller acts as the brains of a garden watering system, which then tells the solenoid valves when to open and close. A typical example of using this setup would be a professional install on a commercial site, or for pop up sprinkler systems (residential or commercial). Communication between the irrigation controller and the solenoid valves is done via 24v cable (aka control cable), so the irrigation controller could be located in the utility room of your house or building block, and the solenoid valves could be hidden in a valve box buried in the garden.
