It is easier to clean a single filter than many emitters. An effective filter like this protects downstream components and is an important feature of all irrigation systems. Great for drip irrigation systems. This filter traps dirt and debris in the water to reduce clogging of emitters and sprays.
The snap-on inlet allows for the filter to be connected directly on to a garden tap with a quick connector (aka Hozelock tap connector). The outlet fits 13mm irrigation supply pipe. Made from tough UV stable material for long life.
