Welcome to a new era of wireless irrigation control with the Rain Bird BAT-BT Bluetooth Battery-Operated Controller. Designed to reduce site visits and simplify irrigation management, this controller offers powerful app-based control without the need for mains power or frequent battery changes.

Powered by four AA batteries (not included), the BAT-BT delivers up to five years of battery life, making it an ideal solution for remote or hard-to-access locations. Its IP68-rated waterproof housing ensures reliable operation even in flooded valve boxes or harsh outdoor conditions.

Using the Rain Bird 2.0 app (available for Android and iOS), users can manage irrigation schedules via Bluetooth with an intuitive interface. Advanced mapping highlights low battery levels, allows quick access to key functions, and supports controller sharing, making team collaboration easier and reducing unnecessary site visits. Offline mode allows changes to be made without a Bluetooth connection and synced later when back on site.

The controller supports precise irrigation scheduling, including seconds-based run times, Cycle Soak™ to reduce runoff, rain delays, seasonal adjustments by month, and permanent days off for maintenance schedules such as mowing. A removable battery pack allows fast and simple battery replacement without reprogramming, and irrigation programs are retained even when batteries are changed.

Available in 1, 2, 4, or 6 station models, the BAT-BT also includes a master valve/pump output on all versions and direct compatibility with Rain Bird rain sensors.
